“ Our new favorite spot! We came here for lunch yesterday and everything blew us away! Tons of options for both meat eaters and vegans, and service was outstanding! They also have a large space with an ample amount of tables, making for a very pleasant dining experience. We got bbq pork buns, Chinese pancakes (absolutely amazing), vegan orange chicken rice bowl, stewed beef noodles, pan fried veggie dumplings (so good), & pork dumplings. Everything was super tasty and came out very quickly. The dipping sauce for the scallion pancakes and dumplings was delicious and flavorful. Though I'm a vegetarian, I was told the beef noodles were incredibly. The only thing that was not exactly what was expected were the pan fried pork dumplings, as they were more soupy than anticipated (but still said they were tasty). Everything tasted very fresh and was presented well. We will definitely be back here! ”

“ I ordered takeout from here for the first time and it was delicious! I was not in the mood for it but it was on the way for me and I've always wanted to try it. I ordered the ground minced meat with shiitake mushrooms over noodles. It comes with a side of chicken broth that I poured with my noodles and meat. There was a couple of daikon radishes and Chinese vegetables on the noodles. I also ordered the woodear mushroom side dish. It was so flavorful. I enjoyed both and plan to come back for some dumplings. Check them out in Belmar area. ”

“ What a lovely, clean, well-lit shop in the back corner of Belmar. Not too much for a Sunday afternoon - I expect warmer weather will bring more patrons as they have a patio and large industrial windows that open up. Looking forward to coming back. ”

“ Finally was in the area when I was hungry and stopped in to check out the menu. Mason's has a great location being at the edge of the Belmar shops with ample parking available and a bright, open interior making it inviting when walking in. My visit was on a weekday afternoon and beyond typical lunch hour so, it was nice to see several tables with people having the same idea as me at this hour. Front of the house staff was quick to greet me and shared some info on their menu options then left me to take some time to build my to-go order. As I started to review the menu, my instinct was that I would only find a few non-meat options as that is my typical experience but, Mason's surprised me in the best way possible with plant based chicken and beef options. Upon seeing this, my task became a challenge with more than a few options! I was given some advice from one of the workers who, while not vegan or vegetarian, highly recommended the vegan chicken Bao as his favorite but, I was so curious to try the beef, I opted for that one - next time chicken! I ended up ordering 3 different items; the steamed vegan dumplings, the plant based beef bao, and pan fried Chinese pancakes. Honestly, everything was fantastic. The bao was as good as I had hoped and more, the flavors and freshness really stood out, the steamed dumplings were perfectly made and kept me coming back for more, and the pancakes were light and not too oily. The portions are, for me, large enough that I ended up making 3 meals of everything! It is so great to have a spot like this so close by - I can't wait to go back to try more! ”

“ SO good! My daughter and I were driving through Belmar and found this sign and knew that it would be something to try! We selected one of a bunch of categories: steamed dumplings, pan-fried, boiled and then soup dumplings. Also there are sections for rice and noodles. We kept on the dumpling theme. The beef bao bun, pictured, was extraordinary!! The meat was superbly seasoned, definitely not to miss! And the soup dumplings (pork) were luscious, as were the Chinese scallion pancakes. The service is so friendly and food comes out quickly, we were eating in just a few minutes, Totally recommend! ”
